First of all, the combo of colors Chet chose for the ‘Alien Mutation’ gag are great, very dynamic. Also, I like the addition of the middle panel in the row at the bottom of this page, ’cause it really hit the animation ‘action insert’ nail on the head.
A piece of cloth also goes from the bottom left panel — through the inset — and then into the bottom right panel. One of the best uses of sequential panels to indicate movement I’ve ever seen.

Yeah, I bring that up in the upcoming Saturday Supercast. Chet’s work is just packed to the gills with clever storytelling moments.
