I know I mentioned this on an earlier page, but I just wanted to point to the use of color to outline certian aspects of the drawing. On this page it really goes a long way to providing a more corporal experience for the reader. The fire in panel six, the steam in panel seven, heck even the splotch on the wall in panel four, all of these are obviously not rigid, and the colored line work is a really subtle way of making this a little more, I don’t know, real.

Thanks, Shawn! I’m just glad we don’t seem to be overusing that effect. I try get the work to look as much like animation as I can.
