Sugary Serials :: Comics for All Ages!

Today’s update marks the end of the first episode of Daring Dodo. I hope you all enjoyed it–I know I sure did! Daring’s creator Matt Putnam-Pouliot plans to come back to the anthology with at least two more comics this year, one of which will be another episode featuring Daring and Chops. In the meantime, don’t forget that you can read more of Matt’s excellent comics over at his website, Dial K for Komics! A hearty thanks once again to Matt for contributing to the anthology. His work certainly sets a bar that keeps me working harder every day.

This means we have another new story beginning tomorrow. Next we have the first chapter of nemu*nemu by Kyubikitsy and Kimonostereo. If you haven’t checked out their 3X weekly strip over on their own nemu*nemu website, you’ve been missing out. It’s hands-down one of the most sincere and funny comics on the internet. They have print editions of their comic for sale as well. So if you like what you see, you can order a copy to own and not share with anyone!

I know it sounds like stereotypical editorial hype when I say stuff like this, and it’s weird to say it and mean it while knowing what it sounds like. But I’ll say it anyway–I’m so psyched about this issue of Sugary Serials. Between Daring Dodo and nemu*nemu, the quality of the anthology just jumped up a notch or two (or ten!). I’m so proud to be working along side of the folks behind these comics.
