Twitter Pals

March 15th, 2008

How many of you out there use Twitter? I have to admit that I was skeptical about it at first, but lately I’ve begun to like it quite a bit.

I began to use it as a component to Mark Rudolph’s and my Art & Story podcast. I try to chronicle all the things I’m working on in a given art day, as a way for listeners to sort of eavesdrop on my process and workflow. But as I found more Twitter friends, I discovered it’s a great middle ground between IM and emails. Here’s my Twitter feed, if you’re interested in following me.

Sugary Serials contributors Kyubikitsy and Kimonostereo are doing something cool with Twitter as well. They’ve let the stars of their comic nemu*nemu (and their Sugary Serials comic Who Is the Crimson Scarab?) start their own Twitter feeds. You can follow Anpan and Nemu to see what they’re working on/thinking about during the day. It’s a great extension of the comic, because you can interact with the pups "live". It’s a lot of fun, and I’d encourage anyone who enjoys their comic to follow them.
